Currently August 2015

Well, today is my last day before school starts. A new school, new students, new everything. I am a little terrified, but I know it is all going to be ok. I guess it is a little more stressful for special ed teachers- not knowing the students ability levels, personalities, likes, dislikes- not that regular ed teachers have an easier job- just different. I think next year, after I am settled in at the new school and am familiar with procedures and people it will be different.

I have spent so much time (and money) working on my classroom- that will be my next blog post- before and after. Wow- you are going to be amazed at the transformation! I am looking forward to blogging right along for my first blogger school year! Would love to hook up with any special ed teachers who teach more "resource" type classes. Please feel free to contact me at: philicia.mollere@motivationinthemiddle.com

Well- hope everyone has a great 2015-2016 school year.

  1. I love your blog! It is so bright and beautiful! I can't wait to see your curtains. I'm in the market for some new ones after three years of the same ones! That's awesome you are getting a pool! I could use one year around here in Florida. Good luck tomorrow! I'm sure you'll have a great day!Rambling About Reading

  2. I agree - it takes a lot of time (and money) to redecorate your classroom!
And your blog is adorable! My blog definitely didn't look this awesome when I first started blogging!
I have a feeling this year is going to be awesome for you! I look forward to reading about your adventures. Do you work in a middle school (I worked in one for two years and I LOVED it!)?

  3. I'm starting a new school this year as well. Luckily I was able to visit the school and meet the admin and some teachers before I started my summer so it won't be totally weird and foreign when I start. I'm sure you're school year will go great!
